My expectations from 'Culture and Civilization I' course.

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here on this blog...

First of all, I don't really know what to expect from this course because I am not pretty sure of what this is about, I mean, I have like vague ideas of what it is about and some concepts come to my mind but maybe I am not right, or maybe even worse, I am not even close to what 'Culture and civilization I' means.

Secondly, I suppose I am going to learn about American culture or something similar to it and I will have to reflect critically on the things that happened and maybe on the things that still happen there. So, having said this, I would like to stablish that I'm not good at learning history because it seems boring to me, I mean, seriously, really boring and I have never liked it... I hope we see these information in a interesting way and maybe in a creative way, that would be great!

To conclude, I would like to say that I hope to learn a lot and get over this trauma of disliking history and everything that is similar to it because I love English and I know that to be an English teacher is not enough to know the language, it is important to know as much as I can about everthing.
