It's sort of difficult to start writing about The United Kingdom without thinking of natives and inmigrants -Now that I have read. Therefore, learnt some things about the culture of this country, obviously-. We will always find immigrants everywhere, who move to such countries in order to change their lives but what we don't normally see is how they change the place where they are at. This is exaclty what happend in the United Kingdom a long way back in time.
People from different parts of the globe immigrated to what now it's known as England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. They influenced the language of the people who were born in such places - Natives-, as those immigrants had brought other languages such as: Latin, Dutch, German, and so forth. However, they just don't influenced the language but the culture, customs, some places, and so on. These immigrants tried so hard to survive in Great Britain, especially in those kind of places where the weather used to be cold as ice.
To sum up, all of the facts that happened in Great Britain between Native people and Immigrants, helped to create what it is like now the culture there, and by culture I mean, language, beliefs, traditions, among other important "concepts".
Adrian,
ResponderEliminarI think you used your ideas in a clear way. It is important to know that such a big kingdom like the United Kingdom was not just compound for one type of people.
It's true,we will always find immigrants everywhere. So, how can we know that there are some "pure races"?
Try to pay attention in some spelling mistakes and also in verb tenses. Remember, when you present a paper (or post in this case) you must check your writing before upoaling it.
Good ideas.
